Val Scott, Hocking Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor, will demonstrate for us the best practices for winter sowing of native plant seed for optimal spring germination.
This is a hands-on experience! Participants will construct their own mini-greenhouse from clean, empty gallon milk jugs. Growing medium will be provided and a selection of native seeds will be available.
Spaces are limited, so pre-registration is required.
Additional details will be available in the autumn of 2024.
